On the Thursday before Easter we celebrate Maundy Thursday. This is the day it is believed that Jesus celebrated His final Passover meal with the disciples and, in a beautiful display of humility, washed their feet. He then commanded that they do the same for one another. Join us as we gather during this time to reflect on Jesus’ sacrifice and His commandment to love and serve others.
This special service will begin at 6:30pm in the Sanctuary and will include a brief service and taking communion by intinction. We are sensitive to it being flu and cold season and your health and wellness is a priority to Friendship. If you have been feeling under the weather or would just prefer to have an individual cup with communion elements, we will have them available.
